Senior Classes
Please feel free to call the Community Center if you have any questions, comments, or ideas for additional programming. Ever wanted to learn the Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Swing, Tango, and others? Now you can! This is a great class for beginners, those wanting to brush up on the basics of ballroom dancing and those looking to have some fun! Students, please wear casual, comfortable clothes and shoes with leather soles. No partner needed! Tuesdays 10:00pm - 11:00am Instructor: Gabriel Tsai Fee: $5 per class Learn a new way to stay sharp and in shape with this class for all skill and fitness levels! Tai Chi Chuan is a practice which concentrates and coordinates gentle flowing movements, breathing, sensory awareness, mental imagery, intellect and self expression in order to cultivate physical and mental well being. Regular practice can improve relaxation, balance, coordination and have a positive impact on health. Mondays 9:30am - 10:30am (Will Resume August 23) Instructor: Bobbie Koones Fee: $5 per class Club leader: Malek Peterman Fee: $2 per session Designed to introduce seniors to different styles of dance, including Ballet, Jazz, Broadway, Latin moves and Zumba. Classes are for beginners and offer seniors a fun way to exercise your body and mind.
